Bible Essentials heads to Sunny California!

In a couple of weeks, Bible Essential's Ministry will be heading to sunny California. I am excited to meet and love on these ladies, but most of all I can't wait to share with them "Bible Essentials".

I was raised in church my whole life. My mom read the Bible to me and my siblings every school morning K-12th grade. I taught a kid's Sunday school class and attended many women's Bible studies. So why is it that when I made a pact with the Lord that I would read and study His word daily, I did NOT understand a word I was reading? It felt like I was reading in circles. I didn't know if something had already happened or if it was going to happen in the future. It might as well have been written in Greek! After several years of study, I realized there were some very basic, yet essential facts in the Bible that made God's Word come alive so that I was able to understand what I was reading in the right context...things I wished my mom or someone in church had told me. I think I definitely would have studied and grasped what I was reading earlier.

It is these "Bible Essentials" that I can't wait to share with my California sisters! To God be the glory!!!
